SkyLux Consultancy understands that circumstances may change and a trainee’s plans may not always be achievable. As a training provider, unforeseen circumstances may also arise that lead to unexpected changes in schedule. In order to recognise these eventualities and provide a measure of protection should they occur, SkyLux Consultancy has a formal refund policy for its series of courses.

 

Written notice is required and recommended to avoid argument over notice receipt. Where informal channels (such as SMS, email, etc…) are used to notify SkyLux Consultancy of a cancellation or withdrawal, it is the responsibility of the trainee to ensure that SkyLux Consultancy has received the notification. SkyLux Consultancy recognizes the notification of a cancellation at the time it was received and accepted, and is not responsible for delays such as telephone network congestion or trainee’s internet connectivity problems.

 

*Introduction to the Corporate Aviation Course is not applicable for cancellation or refund once the trainee has signed up and made the payment for the course. However, trainee will be allowed to either defer course date or transfer rights of course to a nominated attendee subject to SkyLux Consultancy’s discretion and approval. 

 

NOTIFICATION & ARRANGEMENT

While every reasonable effort will be made to adhere to the course as informed, SkyLux Consultancy reserves the right to change the time, duration, location, and/or other details of the course, for whatsoever reasons, by notifying you in writing (including e-mail) or via telephone call of the change(s) and informing you of the updated course details and in such event, we will not, unless otherwise expressly stated by us and without prejudice to the other terms of this agreement, offer or provide any refund to you or be liable to you for any losses and/or damages you may suffered as a result of such change(s).

 

SkyLux Consultancy shall inform trainees immediately within 3 working days if:

  • SkyLux Consultancy fails, for any reason, to commence course on commencement date
  • SkyLux Consultancy terminates course, for any reason prior to commencement date
  • SkyLux Consultancy fails, for any reason, to complete course by completion date
  • SkyLux Consultancy terminates course, for any reason prior to course completion date

SkyLux Consultancy may cancel or postpone course if the minimum students required per class is not met on or prior to commencement date. Likewise, SkyLux Consultancy may cancel or postpone course if the minimum students required per class are not retained prior to completion date. SkyLux Consultancy also reserves the right to cancel in the event of an unforeseen circumstance which disables a safe training environment.

 

In the event of a cancellation, SkyLux Consultancy will either arrange for an alternative course date or offer a full refund of the fee paid within 7 working days subject to SkyLux Consultancy’s discretion.

 

In the event of a course requiring rescheduling due to instructor unavailability, the course will be rescheduled at a mutually acceptable date, or the cost of the course will be refunded in full within 7 working days subject to SkyLux Consultancy’s discretion.

 

Within 7 working days of notifying cancellation or postponement of course, SkyLux Consultancy shall provide trainees with information to make timely and appropriate decision on alternative course arrangement.

 

REFUNDS FOR WITHDRAWAL WITHOUT CAUSE

SkyLux Consultancy shall, within 7 working days after receiving and accepting trainee’s written notice of withdrawal refund to trainee, as followed:

After commencement of course and any failure to attend a course shall be deemed as No Show.

Incompletion of Course

After commencement of course and any failure to complete a course shall be deemed as incompletion.

Postponement / Transfer

  •  Unable to attend the course due to personal/work commitments and prior written notification is given at least 7 days before the course commencement date
  • Transfer your rights to the course to a nominated attendee subject to SkyLux Consultancy’s discretion and approval and providing us with the nominated attendee’s full contact details. Written notification is required at least 14 working days before the course commencement date.

A 1-time deferment of course date will be allowed, within a 6-month period from the selected course date. Once the deferred course date is confirmed, no changes are allowed and there will be no refund should trainee fail to attend the course.

No deferment of course and no refund will be allowed should nominated attendee fail to attend the course.
